Trade - 8/14/09 - AEM

STO (1) Naked Put - AEM (AGNICO-EAGLE MINES LTD) Sep 09 @ $50 Strike for $1.35 each. Net Premium $134. Putting on some inflation hedges with this one. A good GOLD company that should have plenty of cash flow next year as well as this one. 12%+ downside protection.

    Thanks for posting this... This trade looks really good... $AEM is not on my radar, but I think even the Nov-09 $50 puts look good too at about 3.30... CC and NP are really speaking to me more lately, and also that I have had much more turbulent trading with other strategies....( I did a SEP-09 $18 CC (at .61) on BAC that I bought this morning at 16.72. ) I like the blog description at the top as well.... "renting stocks..."- That's great.

    Thanks for your kind words.............I agree with your assessment of CCs and NPs. Those are the only options that I do.
